Mubasher: The price of Kuwait’s crude oil grew by $2.63 to settle at $61.68 per barrel on Friday, compared to $59.05 pb on the previous day, according to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).
Brent crude futures rose by 2.4% to hit $60.51 pb, while Nymex WTI increased by 2.1% to reach $54.70 pb.
Global oil prices went up following attacks against an Iranian oil carrier lose to Saudi Arabian city of Jeddah which caused oil to leak into the Red Sea.
